I never understood why they needed to number them anyway. Hell, no other sport numbers their championship. It's just the '87 World Series, or '92 Stanely Cup or '02 NBA Finals.

NOTHING wrong with tradition. Those other sports don't number their championships because they've been going on forever. The first SB was played when I was a kid...the first World Series was before my father was born!
