For a HC job, which will most likely happen.

Who will be the next DC?

I'll go out on a limb and say Marvin Lewis will be fired in Cincy and will be the next DC in Seattle.

I like your line of thinking -- a former HC that was a DC. Promoting from within would be a cool option, but I'm not sure Kris Richard is ready or that Norton is cut out for it.

Could lose someone from the player personnel department too.

I can't see Marvin Lewis getting fired with the Bengals making the playoffs.

Keep an eye on Jim Schwartz if Buffalo doesn't give him the job.

All good ideas.

Did you see the graphic of Marvin Lewis and Jim Mora. Lewis has 100 and Mora has 125 regular season wins without a playoff victory.

That's a lot of wins without a playoff victory. Pressure is really on Lewis.

My guess is Pete would prefer to promote from within. While Norton has the tenure, IMO Richard will get the job.

And he just lost again. 0-6. If the Bengals don't fire him then it's just plain stubborn. He's made the playoffs 4 straight years and still hasn't won one game. Getting there is half the battle, but they need someone who can get them to win the other half....

Where do you guys think Quinn will end up? I think he certainly deserves a chance to be a HC. Personally, for us, I'd prefer an offensive guy as our HC. Also, I think if SF hires a defensive guy, it'll be Fangio, but would rather they didn't.

Maybe NY Jets?? Oakland?? They BOTH could use a guy like Quinn.

Good Luck in the playoffs!! Was hoping Carolina would win, but I'll be rooting for the Seahawks!

NFC WEST!!!

Lewis has made the playoffs for 4 straight years. I don't know if it is his fault that they're 0-4 in those years. Could just be bad luck.

Yea I agree that if SF hires a defensive guy it would be in house but I also think you guys will go offense.

I thought the Jets were the logical choice but now after Marrone opted out I think he is their guy.

The teams I am keeping my eye on are the Falcons, Bears, Bills. I think the Raiders go offense as well.

If I was a Bengal fan I'd want him gone. He can give you good but not great. The team is built, new blood may be exactly what they need to get over that hump.

It's hard to imagine a coach being kept after six winless playoff appearances.

Yeah, I did hear Marrone was all but hired in NY.
