When its all said and done where will Miles stack up?

Does miles surpass one of them? Our basketball program was awful, would this be a greater accomplishment than what devany and osborne built assuming miles can do it?

I can't really accurately rank Devaney because plain and simply I wasn't around to actually see him do what he did and really see what the competition was like back then.

I appreciate all that he did in getting Nebraska to where they were when Tom Osborne took over though.

I just look at what Nebraska was in the 90's and literally I've never seen another coach in any sport get a team to that level. We were like a fuggin machine.

But all I have to go off of is the statistical information that's available to me. If I could go back and watch entire seasons from back in the 60's and 70's to really analyze what College Football was like back then, maybe I could put an accurate rating on Devaney vs. Osborne.

Football back then was played before the pussification began. No freshmen allowed to play, no early exits to the NFL. 3 yards and a cloud of dust kind of shit. Oklahoma, Alabama, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State, USC, UCLA, Michigan, Ohio State and a couple others jumping in once in a while. These were the programs that RAN college football.

Nebraska was nowhere to be found before the drunken irishman showed up to take control. He made NU what you want it to be again.
