A veteran scout, interviewed earlier in the day and speaking on the condition of anonymity, called Kidd’s bench comportment “terrible,” observing that the play-calling has fallen mostly to his top assistants, Lawrence Frank and John Welch.

“He doesn’t do anything,” said the scout, who has watched the Nets several times. “He doesn’t make calls. John Welch does all the offense. Lawrence does all the defense. … I don’t know what Kidd does. I don’t think you can grade him and say he’s bad. You can give him an incomplete.”

The same scout said he had counted only 15 plays run by the Nets in the games he has watched. Multiple observers have noted that the Nets offense lacks any discernible flow, as if the stars are all simply taking turns with the ball.

Doesn't sound promising.

That is a really interesting and valid point #Lions Bullshit Attitude for years


But if your roster is a dumpster fire anyways and you are going to fire sale it there is no harm other than to the fan base that is pressured into staying loyal and even the finickiest of homers will be right back when you draft a young promising star, despite most likely that player leaving for a competent GM in a few years anyways, repeat process live off revenue sharing.

If the Nets don't start turning it around, I'd imagine Kidd gets fired before Christmas. They were hoping to get just a little more out of KG and Pierce, and time really caught up to both of them, that's not on coaching.

I was close. Alot of posters thought the Nets would take the Heat down. I still stand by that the Heat will only have to worry about Indiana in the East, but I pointed out how Brooklyn was given old parts in Pierce, KG and Terry. I originally thought they would be a 4-5 seed and stumble out the gate to begin the season.....but I didn't think they would be this bad.

I also knew they weren't shit once they had Kidd as a coach.

Nets have talent but they're digging themselves a hole. I know it's early but this team is not a team built for the regular season to get on a long winning streak. They're putting up nothing but Losses in the standings it takes alot of energy to comeback just too make the playoffs, look at what happend to the Lakers last season.

Kidd will not make it happend, expect more L's in the standings with this idiot around. WTF was ownership thinking ?? (Kidd a head coach)
