There's intrigue from multiple perspectives. The Cubs/Brewers isn't just for the division it's for homefield throughout which is huge. Rockies/Dodgers loser has to go on the road to win a WC game and then even if they win that game they'll need to face the best team in the NL while the winner gets a far easier path ( no offense to the Braves, they are just really streaky ).

It’s just crazy that after 162 games we know basically nothing about the NL playoff match ups.

The only guarantee is the Braves are on the road vs a West team.

So two teams tomorrow are in a “play in” to achieve first round homefield.
