That's gravy but there is also Hollandaise in there.

The sausage patties right under the gravy are the best thing ever.

We have been eating there for a long, long time, this is the one near Westroads. Probably ever since it opened.

I remember our youngest son was a toddler, and he was exhausted from traveling but he ate the too hot chicken noodle soup in a bread bowl no matter how tired or hot it was. He would take a couple bites, do a little run around, lay down, get up eat some more, make some funny faces and rinse and repeat. Then he crashed on the floor and slept for a long, long time.

Every trip back, we go to Wheatfields for at least one breakfast. Usually we buy a couple loafs of bread also.

I ate at the one in Shadow Lake, darn good food. I am not sure why we never went back as we shop the Hy-Vee out there once a week.

We picked up wheatfields cinnamon rolls for my dad for Father's Day. Those things
Are huge and amazing.

Wheatfields is disgusting. Loud, horrible service and rugrats running around everywhere. I could come up with 5 other places with better food, service and atmosphere than that dump.

While it's not THAT bad, there are several better breakfast joints in Omaha.

Leo's comes to mind as a favorite of mine.

Nothing pisses me off more than when I'm able to eat my entire meal at a restaurant.

You should always have leftovers.

4 strips of bacon, 2 pieces of toast and 2 eggs is just a snack. I need half a fucking casserole when I eat out. That's how it should be.
