Me? Crow.
Passed on tix that opened for $2500 per tic thinking they would drop.
Flew into PHX last Monday.
Tic prices now about $8000 for the cheapest.
:L

I passed on an $1800 ticket and then got a $2000 performance award. I can still get to AZ on a cheap flight. Maybe last minute drop? I think their will be enough buyers in the parking lot to prevent a price drop....

I love how everyone is just going about like $2000+ for a single ticket is nothing. I guess when we're all strangers on a message board we can all pretend to be multi-millionairs.

Me? I spent just under the equivalent of $200 on beer, food and snacks and I'm more than content.

Ughh that sucks. Hopefully the Seahawks will lose and you'll feel better about saving the money:suds:
Seeing as how it has rained for 3 of the 4 days here, I am hunting for any silver lining I can find, but your suggestion isn't one of them.:suds:

My thoughts as well Southie. The latest plan is to go to the stadium on game day, but I fear a strokefest and then I will have to bail quickly so I don't miss much game time.
This is a spot I put myself in.:bawling:

Not sure who you intended that post for, but if I want to pretend to be a MM, I would have said I bought 45 yard line lowers for a steal at $19000 per ticket so I decided to buy 4. Peanut change compared to what it cost to fly the Lear in and did I tell you yet that almost all the limo's were already snatched up for this game?

There should be a law to protect the lofty one's like myself.

Thanks dark, I spaced on the vcash as my mind has been focused on other things. The line should be close so I might just go all in.

If I was in AZ right now with no ticket, I'd be pissing on door handles of cars with Seahawks stickers...

From looking at the ratio of 'Hawks and Pats fans who are there now I would say you would need to be pissing non stop.

Forgot to post my SB feast.....Hungryman dinner and tap water.:L
If I happen to be able to buy a ticket for the game, I could probably pay for the water, but the dinner? Not a chance.
Laid $25 large vcash on my boys. Thanks for the reminder.

It's amazing the way tickets just keep going up and up. Sunday may be the only chance to get a "deal" and the "deal" may end up being slightly worse then what you could of got early on. Feel bad for those that were planning to be there.

Don't hold your breath on tickets man.

Stories all over the news up here of ticket brokers telling people who already paid for confirmed seats that there aren't enough tickets to fulfill the orders and they are offering a 200% refund.

I'd bet anything most of that is brokers seeing the outrageous prices going now and are willing to pay 3k-4k for tickets they sold for 2k so they can turn around and sell them again for 8k.

King 5 had a woman on who fought it and turned down more than 200% refund to get the tickets she was promised and they honored it. That's what tells me its all likely a scam.

There are also hundreds of people down there without tickets all waiting for that last second price drop. You are going to have to be in the right place at the right time to even bid, and with that many going for it, the drop won't bring them down under 3k each.

This is a record SB already in terms of actual dollars spent and the last day or so will explode that up even higher.

:agree: to both of these last posts. I wonder when the SB will become a Pay-Per-View event so everyone has to pay to watch?

Hopefully never. Pay for view killed boxing IMO.

The girls are cooking a bunch of stuff but I'll probably be too wasted come game time to eat anything. Plan to start early with some martinis, and work up from there.
