Haven't got it all planned out like the OP, but I am sure to smoke some turkey breasts, salmon, and pork shoulders. Also looking forward to the first batch of green chili pork stew!

College Football Season is almost upon us

This is kind of like my Christmas season. Lots of food, fun, family and friends. It's rare for me to actually go to a game anymore - too much of a hassle and too expensive. For the price of one ticket now days I can buy enough food to feed an army. So that's basically what my wife and I have been doing the last couple of years. Tailgating in our backyard, cooking, having our kids and their friends come over (even though the youngs tend to annoy me sometimes). Drinking a lot of beer and gong back and forth between multiple games on the TV...until the A&M game comes on. I usually have a pretty good buzz by the time it's over...

Hooplans are welcome with a 24-pack cover charge

Because I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't voluntarily eat a bevo burger.

Bevo Burger: a burger marinated with Ohio State players man juice.

Duck is over rated. I hunt 'em and cook 'em, but chicken is still better.
