I think we're going with pulled pork sandwich's, a big pot of chili, and a bunch of bowls of chips, popcorn, nacho's and dips. Probably some bowls of punch for the kids and I'll have about 6 different coolers filled with ice for everyone's beer, coolers, and what ever else they are drinking.

Taking my son to my mom's house to watch the game. We're having medallions of beef, guri mashed potatoes, carrots, and salad. Certainly not the menu I'd have planned, which would have been more like the OP's. Should still be good, though.

Were throwing the brisket in tomorrow, low and slow for 10 hours. Brisket sammies, Manny's is on tap.

My guests are responsible for the rest.

Throwing 4 racks of ribs in the smoker that morning prepared 3 ways, meatballs, lots of snack shit. Most of the usual stuff.

Passed on tix that opened for $2500 per tic thinking they would drop.
Flew into PHX last Monday.
Tic prices now about $8000 for the cheapest.

I make Pizza from scratch. I pre cook the pie crust plain for 5 minutes. It come's out stiff and goes into the fridge.

I hit the bars until 6pm. When I come home there will be 3 ovens. I just have to put on my toppings and put it in the middle oven.

Meh. This isn't a good time for us to host a game party. Our anniversary and son's birthday are always the same week. We will probably have leftover pizza and snacks from the boy's birthday sleepover. Plus, we won't be inviting anyone over, having just had such a busy weekend.

Thread potential here...

Not sure today, going to monitor this thread all day and go from there.

You will probably get better ideas here than some other articles I've read. The Fox sports site has a list of menu items for SB that have things like "Wasabi spiced deviled eggs with salmon gravlax" and "bourbon butterscotch creme' brulee".

Uhhh, that's nice I guess, but I think regular football watching dudes prefer beer, pizza, tacos, burgers, etc. Not all that fancy schmancy stuff.

I hear ya..."Keep it simple stupid" motto in effect here. Leaning towards a smoked porkbutt. Damn good sammies and the leftover keep on giving as well.

THAT brulee sounds good tho.

We have done Alton Brown recipe chicken wings a couple 3 times now, we will be going for it again, they are top notch, did some for the championship games, so good.

Guacamole is a must. Potato nachos kick ass also.

Probably some Stella to wash it all down, and a jar of that Junior Johnson.

Thanks mrwallace, that's how we roll around here, SB's call for a certain style, I got to admit smoking a boston butt aint a bad idea either, but I didn't plan that far ahead, when I do a butt, I usually buy on Thursday, rub it down and fridge it for a couple days, if I don't go to the 500 maybe I will do one, maybe do one anyway and pack it to Daytona!

I have a Traeger wood pellet grill/smoker so I'm putting on a couple huge pork shoulders early in the morning. And beer. And bourbon since I'm in Kentucky.

I have a Traeger as well and love it. Going to a friends house this year but last year I did a rack of prime rib. I'm getting hungry now.
