What's your ideal way to spend the first 2 days of the tourney?

Just kind of curious. I usually take off work the first two days of the tourney. I can't always, but it worked out and I've got it this year too. I usually watch from home and usually go to a bar for a couple of games. If a friend wants to meet me, I'll do that.

This year, they've legalized gambling here in Jersey, so I'm thinking of going down to a casino for a day, a buddy might come. I've been in Vegas/Nevada for the games before and it's a shit-ton of fun.

I've also never been to a 1st round game live. The problem is you could be watching Duke blow out Kennesaw State while the really good game is going on TV. Or Miss St might get sent there, etc. It's also not easy to get tickets.

What would your ideal way be to spend those first 2 or 4 days? I don't give a shit if in real life you work 80 hours at your job, or you have a ballbuster of a wife, or 6 kids. You have those 2 (or 4 days) off. What are you doing?

Tough to find a good place that has enough TVs, space, and also isn't a chain bar with kids and families (hours of drinking can get rowdy)

That's sweet. My buds have never been into college ball. We'll watch NFL and NBA. I've been out to bars to catch the games with them in the past, but they don't follow it like I do. I usually take my girlfriend to Nova games.

Buffalo Wild Wings is prettty decent. They have great TV coverage, but the food is shit...

I invite 1,000 folks for cocktails and an early lunch followed by a sit-down, black-tie dinner, while watching the
multiple telecasts.

I have a large board showcasing all of my picks, and the invitees usually cheer every time I can circle a team,
denoting a win and boo, when I place a big red "X" thru a team's name, signaling elimination.

At the end of each day's games Everyone enjoys a final nite cap and snacks while I lay out my hopes and
predictions for the upcoming sessions.

It's usually a pretty nice time.

I'm in control of IT for my company. Each year I pipe the early Thursday & Friday games in through a conference room projector and a bunch of employees eat lunch while watching the games.

I try to take off both days if I can or at least work half days. This year I have to work Thursday, but am taking a half day in Friday.

I've taken those days off for about the last 5 or 6 years or so. Love watching at home or going to my local bar to watch all the games. I went to FSU's 2nd round game against Xavier a few years ago when we had Issac and Bacon and got beat by 31. Great to be there but sucks missing out on the other games. They try to update you on what's going on but definitely not the same.

I like going to the games but only if I've got a resl rooting intetest. Otherwise I prefer watching multiple screens out with my buddies

I always schedule my vacation the week of the Big Dance. I like to sit on the couch with a 2-liter bottle of Coke/Pepsi and eat too much of something (subs, pizza, etc.) while I hope for a 63-0 bracket and the $1,000,000 or whatever it'll be...and then start 0-1.

I have a bar and 2 TVs in my garage. Going to the tourney is fun but you feel like you are missing out on so much when sitting in a stadium. I have a bookie so no need for Vegas

When i was in my 20's bar all day. Now home, seems like i would only catch glimpses of games out and about. At home i pay a little more attention.

I like to attend the First Four on Tuesday Night. Then, on Thursday and Friday, I just work and score watch on my phone, as there is still plenty of ball to watch after work on both nights. By Friday-Saturday at Midnight, I am sick of hoops.
