Kind of consistent with the entire division. Some of the other teams may have had back to back winning seasons, but there has not been a division winner in consecutive seasons since the early 2000s Eagles (last done in 2004) & many of these teams have followed up a division winning year with an awful one.

This division is kind of the total opposite of the AFC-E.

look all i am saying is we are making a jump to who is better when we havent put together back to back winning seasons . one step at a time and until we do that then we shouldnt be favored to do a thing

we have potential to be a good to great football team but we have to do it on the field first and be patient

Do it...show me a ten game stretch in Romo's career that marched KC.

I really wasn't going to spend a lot of time doing this but literally the first Romo season I searched gave me the answer.

Cousins last 10 games of 2015: 23 TD 3 INT Average Rating 106.5 Average QBR: 71.69
Kirk Cousins

Romo last 10 games of 2014: 25 TD 4 INT Average Rating: 108.44 Average QBR: 78.37
Tony Romo

A note Romo played Seattle and Arizona in that 10 game stretch in 2014. And of course the numbers don't show all the yards he created with his ability to feel and avoid the rush, he's one of the best at that.

I haven't (and won't) looked into these numbers, but I will note that Kirk and the Redskins took their foot off the gas when we got out to be some very large leads (e.g., 28-3 (Buffalo) and 38-14 (Philly)). Note also that Kirk only played 1.5 quarters in the last game. Not sure how this compares to Romo numbers if you look behind them, but just sayin'.

It's premature to talk of cousins in the same vien as Romo. Romo has shown his mettle (good and bad) over the course of a decade. Kirk has one season under his belt as a starter. Now he looked very promising as he became more comfortable and experienced, but you have to give the nod to Romo (and Eli, for that matter) over KC going into this season. If KC can continue to show improvement and growing leadership this season, then next offseason KC can be compared favorably to both those guys going forward.

The same could obviously be said with Romo's games too. The last 4 were lopsided wins where they put up 38-44 pts in each, no doubt he took his foot of the gas too. For sure he left the game that ended 42-7 early but not before completing 18 of 20 passes for 4 TDs and no picks.

Hey I was just challenged to come up with a 10 game stretch that matched Kirk's. I was able to do that very easily and I'm sure if I looked further I could find more. But my main point was Romo did it for a decade, Kirk did it for 2 months. We just have to wait and see.

If Kirk ends up as good a player as Romo has been we should all be very happy.

You did a very good job. You showed 11 games but yes.

KC did do his without a run game.

Yes Romo has done it for a decade but he is old and coming off a broken collarbone...twice. You also discount KC and make it seem like he is unable to duplicate the performance.

Ok, fair enough. But also keep in mind that, in 2014, Romo had a beast of a running game to support him. Kirk had to do what he did all by himself. And, when assessing Kirk, I'm not worrying about Romo as much as I am about Kirk. And one thing we've got to focus in on is that running game. Not too sure about that one.

Chill. I was simply pointing out that this is a division that changes constantly. I never make any bold predictions for this team.

And I was simply saying with a healthy Romo they have the edge at QB over an unproven player, at least going into this year. Can Kirk do it again? Absolutely. Is it for sure? Not even close.

11 games? What chew talkin' 'bout Willis? I used Seattle Oct 12 to the end of the year and that added up to 10 where I went to school.

No worries here. Romo and Bradford will be in some ER by mid-season in matching whole-body casts.

I never root for injuries. But with Sam Bradford I may have to make an exception. What a little bitch that guy is, he has stolen more money than Ringo Starr.

I wasn't rooting for them either. Just stating what I think will happen. That Romo could break his collarbone a fourth time is cringeworthy.
