I've got it: A misdemeanor league

8-team league with 5 players each on it.

Serpentine draft with the order coming via rigged draw.

Head to Head based on points for the regular season (weeks 1-13); playoffs last 4 weeks. The playoffs get divided into 2 divisions where top seed takes on bottom seed. We'll end up having an "A" division champion, and a "B" division champion.


Scoring works like this:

1 point for every $1,000 fined.

1 point (counting towards that weekend's game) for being called out by the head coach for showing up late for meetings or practice.

1 point for every time Troy Aikman or Al Michaels calls your player a "bonehead".

3 points for an excessive celebration penalty.

3 points for a penalized hit on a quarterback or a defenseless receiver.

5 points every time your player makes a racist allegation about the league.

5 points for every unique dong photo taken, sent, and then released to the media and public. (Retired players are not eligible.)

5 points for every NFL reporter hit on.

7 points for a meeting with Roger Goodell and his band of white flying racist monkeys.

7 points for banging a 17-year-old (9 points if she's hot).

10 points for every arrest (counting towards that weekend's games). Another extra 10 points for a possession charge, domestic abuse, murder, or shooting yourself in the leg. An extra 5 points for public intoxication or drinking & driving.

10 points for every quarter benched. (Player must start game to meet this achievement.)

15 points for a suspension, counting towards that weekend's game which they have to sit out.



I think this scoring system is fair, it makes both offensive and defensive players a part of the strategy.
