Except for the fact that this kid has the size and skills to play the position we drafted him for.

Lawerance, Attchou, and Van Noy are better OLB then this guy. Maybe Moses slips to the 3rd. Flemming and Mewhort are not the targets.

ok enough of the negative nancy stuff

we got INS for Rak .

we got a great character jared allen type guy

he is tall and does well in coverage

if he gives us kerrigan type production we should be thrilled

and moses /martin / any o/lineman /d/lineman we need will be there which will cancel out the reach

Murphy will be signed to a four year deal for peanuts. If Rak performs we resign him. If he doesnt we have his replacement on roster. Smart move in my opinion. But how is he selected over Attachou? Im not mad about the position. Im mad about the player. If they wanted an OLB so bad they should of stayed put and taken Van Noy.

I agree he gives us insurance, I just feel like we reached and could have gotten someone of better value at that position. Who knows what he'll do in the league, and I hope we got a HoF player, but if we could have gotten him in the 4th, I would have loved to have seen us wait to grab.
