Exactly. The pats get players to fit their scheme, which they have had in place for15 years. We, however, change coaches and scheme so often that we continually find ourselves with players we have to make fit the new scheme, even if their talents make it a bad fit. The dline and safety are perfect examples.Coming from Jim Haslett's biggest supporter.Basically he said they have better players and play better defense. Besides the MANY schematic things the Pats do, they do them correctly and the way they are designed. That is coaching.
