The Dallas Mavs, Houston Rockets, and the LA Clippers are the teams to be rumored as being interested, but they should all stay the FUCK away. He is a cancer and will poison these teams, he isn't worth the time or aggravation.

1-Toronto

Unlike Dallas, Houston, and the LA Clippers the Raps lost Demar DeRozan to a serious injury. Their 129-120 loss to the Bulls showed why they miss DeRoza, point guard Kyle Lowry has to try and do too much. And Rose got the better of him for (at least) one night. While he's on pace for a career year, he shouldn't have to carry the scoring load and he was in a position where he had to without DeRozan's scoring.

Not to mention, Amir Johnson is really a backup on a really GOOD team, not a starter. Smith would give them a better offensive player, defender and rebounder.

He'd be worth a serious look and a low risk/high reward signing. If he causes turmoil, release him.

2-Charlotte.

Tyler Zeller is starting at power forward, but he has virtually no range and is more of a backup center. Smith could step in and start right away next to Big Al. His outside shooting would open up the passing lanes for players to drive to the basket. And if there is one thing Smith did do well in Detroit was pass, he averaged 3.3 assists per game last season and 4.7apg this season.

3-Sacramento.

Rumor is they want to trade point guard Darren Collison, and forwards Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams to Brooklyn for Deron Williams. That would leave them short of some forwards, Smith could step in and start next to Rudy Gay, keepting carl Landry where he belongs: on the bench.

4-Indiana.

After losing Paul George, the Pacers have been relegated to using backup Chris Copeland as the starter at small forward and he's been struggling (averaging 9.5ppg, shooting just 37% on his FGA's). Smith could step in and start at his more natural position of small forward.

Every team could benefit from his baseline numbers but like flauge said he's a bonehead. And I suspect he was throwing a shitfit cause what team releases a player like that.

It was some bizarre timing that's for sure.

1. Miami- no explanation necessary.

2. Clippers - Hawes is always gimp and Blake can be a mental midget and get taken out of his game.

3. Dallas - no front court depth.

4. Rox- * see Clippers substitute Blake with Howard

5. Warriors- Bogut and Lee are always hurt.

6. Suns - They are a longshot to make the playoffs with that garbage front court and need to do something to improve their chances of keeping Dragic.
