Fly, Eagles Fly
I saw a team called the Kansas City Chiefs play the Los Angeles Rams, but it didn't look anything like the football played by my team, the Eagles....
Seriously now, if you are an NFL football coach watching that, you have to know that the game has changed, right? You simply can't beat some of the current teams, like the Rams, Saints or Chiefs, unless you have a wide-open scheme, aggressive offensive coordinator and are capable of scoring at least 30 PPG.
The talk radio guys here in Houston were joking that last night's game was not even the same sport Bill O'Brien coaches. It's funny but actually true. I think about 3/4ths of NFL teams have no shot to win anymore. They will need to fire their offensive coordinators and re-think their approach to football, based on the way the rules are changing and the game's Xs and Os are evolving.
Thoughts?
