How far would Kendall Fuller have to drop before you drafed him?

I could go as high as a early second if his combine numbers are still good.

Just figured I'd ask this question. Lions have had bad luck with injured kids from college. Wanted to the pulse of the fan base on this. Was it just a "I hate Mayhew" thing and every move he's made, or do you not like past injury kids?

Depends on injury. Mayhew (like Millen) LOVES taking injury risks in mid to late rounds who would otherwise be drafted in the first round if not for injuries.

Meniscus isn't a terrible injury to come back from. Nothing like ACL/MCL. Someone will take him in the 2nd

Which is why my thoughts are a early second round for me. You just have to understand the bad bad history of Lions picks that never pan out due to injury bug staying with them.

See Hokies post. Seemed it was the best move actually for him. Shut him down and do the surgery before something else happened worse. At least that was what I got from reading about it awhile back.

He'd still be a good pick in the 2nd round where the Lions would be picking. First round talent to be had

I know Gandy and I watched him some last year and Kendall sure didn't look good in that tOSU game. He got double clutched in the 3rd qtr on a stop-n-go by the XWR and had two very critical PI's (which I can overlook as I saw his technique last year was way better). He got torched 3x in that game that I just can't get out of my head. However, I saw what he could do as a true Frosh and more last year as a Soph.

He's still on my list but nothing more than early 2nd rd at best.

Kid has way too much talent to all of a sudden have poor technique this year. I'm wondering if he had an injury that week pre-tOSU

Word is he hurt it in camp. He clearly wasn't 100% this year. I think his tape from freshman and sophomore year (which is AA, top 3 at his position quality) is probably a lot more indicative of his talent level

Thanx ckhokie..... That's kind of what I was leaning to but nothing was ever stated publicly that I was aware of.
Yep, on that Frosh All-American... it's what made me watch more

Wow, the off-season talk is going to be burnt out before we even get there.

Week 6 is usually pretty late for Lions off season talk. I blame high expectations.

I'm guessing you did NOT spend much time here... Ohh say from about two minutes after FA started?

Never a dull moment here. I'm starting my April Christmas already.
