He will be considered top 5 even if he never wins another title... Because he is. His natural skill, talent, and ability is once in a generation.

I get this is a sarcastic thread, but is it really worth one's time to go out of your way to dedicate a thread to mimic a single poster?

Is it worth your time to go out of your way to ask me a rhetorical question on a sarcastic thread?

He is doesnt win another top 5. If he does win some more, even just two more he will be in the serious discussion for best player ever, no doubt.

Yes, he had two Finals where his team probably had as much talent as the opponent or more, but the other two. Not one player would have won with that team around them, last year with the injuries he was basically playing with a bench squad and in the 2003 Finals vs the mighty Spurs he had a good defensive team that had nobodys on it. No excuses, but no doubt he is top 5.

Top 10 certainly, but it will take winning more titles to break into the top 5. Ultimately, that's what differentiates the top spots from the rest.

The difference is that you're an established poster on this page. Why give a guy attention he hasn't earned?

He'd be the Buffalo Bills of the NBA.

Oh wait, he's already lost 4 times.

Guess that means he'd be even worse than the Buffalo Bills.

Natural? Take that with a grain of salt. I still think he could be on steroids, but so was one of my heroes growing up in Sammy Sosa who I still believe should be in the hall of fame. I wouldn't put he or Kobe in the top 10 simply because of the weak generation they played in...

Doug Flutie curse. Not making the Playoffs since 1999 is an epic drought. I get hating on LeBron but even he deserves more credit than that.

If anyone played in a weak generation, it was MJ. MJ was at his best just after the league expanded and the talent level hadn't caught up. By the time Kobe was in his prime, the overall talent level was starting to catch back up and it has gotten even better since Lebron entered his prime.

Duncan? He's part of the same weak generation.
