This is from Walter's mock...
1.10 - QB Drew Lock, Missouri - I have mixed emotions about drafting a QB at 10. I just don't think this class is as good as last year's or next year's. I know you never can tell about next year, and a lot can happen between now and then, but I still think I would rather wait and grab one of those guys. OTOH, if Elway thinks that Lock can be "the guy", then he should take him. I'm also hearing that Haskins' stock is on the way down and he could slide.
2.41 - DE Zach Allen, Boston College - Seems like a bit of a reach to me at the top of the 2nd. But he addresses a need. There are a couple guys on the board that I like better, though.
3.71 - LB Terrill Hanks, New Mexico State - Would like to get an impact player at ILB. Again, there are guys I like better on the board here. Mack Wilson goes the very next pick to Cincy.
4.125 - WR Antione Wesley, Texas Tech - Red zone target with great size and 50/50 ability, but not the kind of guy who can get consistent separation.
5.148 - G Ryan Bates, Penn State - Wrong PSU lineman.
6.182 - TE Keenan Brown, Texas State - Small school guy. Seems like another RZT. Definitely a need, but one I would like to see addressed earlier.
Overall, I'm not sure I like this one too much. But Lock is the key to this (potential) class.
