I know that most of you are enjoying the afterglow of last nights win, but now that they've clinched the playoff spot, the question becomes who plays next Sunday in Dallas. That question is firmly lodged in whether health or the 6th seed is most important to you. This ought to be an interesting conversation.

I agree. I can see JD5 playing or sitting. IMO we have a better shot of beating the Rams or Bucs instead of Philly. Can MM beat Dallas?

Something to think about... being playoff eligible and playoff ready are two different things. To me, because of their lack of top tier talent relative to the competition they are likely to face, they are and have always been the former.

taking a risk of losing JD5 is popping in my head.
You can’t play this game with the goal of protecting players from injury. If he were already injured, that’s one thing. But if otherwise healthy, you play him. Maybe not the entire game, but he starts and the offense uses it as an opportunity to work on things… like blocking…..which we seem to have forgotten how to do.

if you plan on sitting him for the 2nd half for example, dont play him at all. The way JD5 runs he could get hurt. Its a huge risk. The game is not needed to get into the playoffs but it's heeded to stay away from the Eagles.
