Ah Nick , so you just want to skip to September. If I was an Eagle fan I would be glad there was no more Vick drama- although he did scare me more than Foles as a Dallas fan. I would be anxious to see Maclin and how he is after the knee injury. Jordan Matthews as well. How much will you miss number 10. Finally, it will be interesting to see what Jenkins does for your secondary

Defense...

DEFENSE...

DEFENSE!!!

Romo's back is of course most important but the defensive side of the ball brings a lot of questions that have to be answered. Im interested in seeing if Rod listens to his DBs and allows them to play more man. Of course the Dline is gonna be interesting.
The guy I really want to see though is Rolando McClain. He has supposedly quit twice, but if this guy can get it together I think he can be a difference maker. Nobody can replace Lee in this defense but I think this guy is our best option if his head is right.

Curious how effective the D-line is gonna be, & to see how our new toy on the O-line does.

WRs are my biggest question mark so curious how they look in TC.

I am actually not concerned with Romo at all.

Wilbur is now a LB. Won't be moving back to DE any time soon...

Well then - thats definitely a battle worth watching. Both he and Holleman have shown flashes. Heck they both could start possibly.

Definitely have to keep Dez healthy. I actually like our depth at the position. Some interesting young guys to watch there as well.

Yes, they both could. Even before Lee got hurt they said the best 3 LBs will play. If Carter plays like he did last year he may not play, but the team really needs him to step up and play better. Durant can man the middle, but will be a liability in coverage. Having the speed of Carter and Holloman on the field would help him out. I wouldn't be surprised to see Durant start in the middle, but come out in passing situations, but every LB on the field will need to cover some even if we change up the defense a little this year. I really want Holloman to get a shot in the middle. I know it looks like they may not play him there, but maybe they move him there in the nickel.

Holloman has shown that he can be a playmaker. Im sure he made some mistakes last year being a rookie but in preseason he was a star. In limited playing time during the regular season he was productive as well especially week 17.

Interested to see how bishop, coleman, crawford play in the preseason, can one or more of these guys come in and explode on the scene like Rat did? The rookie safety from baylor is another guy I wonder about. Hard hitter and has some skills. Is Sean Lees permanent replacement on the roster?

Yes. Arlington Cowboy the new safety should be fun to watch. He has an uphill battle though. There are about 5 in front of him. Church Wilcox Johnson Heath HAmilton. He will have to jump at least one if not 2. I think we keep 5 though. IMO he will be a special teams guy this yr. as far as the dlinemen u mentioned Crawford stands out to me and I'm hoping he is a real player that can be counted on. Bishop and Coleman both are young but both did show good things in OTAs

I am looking forward to seeing if these coaches are any better at evaluations and development
They made a statement this off season in FA and the draft. Times up, they better be right cause jerry and the players aren't going anywhere
