How was the show?


How bout Royal Blood? Can't say I really know much about them.

Last night's Pixies show was great.... they rocked it for nearly 90 solid minutes..... Black Francis was his usual funny/serious/somber/angry self...the new bass player held her own, a la KD. The crowd was a decent mix of older fans from back in the day, to much younger newer fans. We got to the Auditorium midway through Royal Blood's opening set because we stopped at a sports bar a few blocks away for dinner & beers and to watch some of the AL wild card game beforehand....but from what we heard we liked them, They're 2 brothers, 1 on drums, the other on bass... doing funky punky power rock. They sounded like a full 4 or 5 piece band..I think you'll dig them. I hope they both come back.
(Frank said they (pixies) would be soon...he loves it here)

We missed most of em...well, all of em'..lol. Watched em on the TVs they had outside the theater while waiting in line for some booze, if that counts?

From the muffled sounds I could hear, they sounded ayight.
