I'll admit: I went through a beer-snob phase where I was fairly insufferable. Would not drink a domestic/macrobrew and sought out the most unique hop-bombs I could find. Then my tastes changed and frankly I just got lazy.

The Beer Fairy just visited my house - actually, a neighbor who just had some kind of BBQ and had tons of suds left, which had been bought for guests but the host doesn't drink them. Almost a full case.

Has basic stuff like Modelo and Sam Adams but also has some Fat Tire IPA's:

Also has some weird Raspberry Lemon Gose and some strawberry blond from a brewer whose name I can't recall this morning (for some reason)

Not sure how far out of NE it's distributed, but it's quality.

I don't think it's made it to New Jersey, but I know parts of Orange County, NY get it. It's been sold out the couple times I've looked though.

friend of mine who has a little coffee shop with a liquor license sent me the list of beers her vendor carries. Nothing good that I would go with and it is disappointing. Looking to tell her to get Seaquench and All Day IPA in her rotation and they don't carry them. I want to suggest a different distributor...

there's some stores in NW NJ that get a lot of Carton. Those stores get most of their craft beers from Hunterdon Brewing and now Serene. Sometimes I go up to the stores up in Warwick, NY. They get Lawson's up there.

Finally went to Spellbound. Worth the wait. Went there on the way back from Citizens Bank Park.
