So what are we doing tomorrow for St. Paddy's Day? I think we're going to a bar that is having live music and drinking beer. Maybe corned beef and cabbage.

Damn, it was nice outside of Boston. Every bar was an Irish bar that night. Since every bar was hiring an Irish band, the talent got stretched pretty thin.

But I remember one night, as the band was packing up, that this blonde walked in and couldn't keep her hands off of me.....

3 Floyds Zombie Dust, Dreadnaught and Gumballhead.

@gobucks0409 Any Ohio breweries you recommend? I'm hitting GABP and hopefully Progressive (have no idea how they're releasing tickets) this summer.

Any particular styles you're most keen on? Driving from Cincy to CLE (or vice versa)?

Cincy:
I've heard good things about Brink and Sonder(not a fan of their distro beers, though), but I haven't been.
Streetside puts out a lot of hazies, which all seem to be good, but kind of all the same. I've never been to it, though.
Madtree - must go. I haven't been to their new setup (went to their old place), but heard it's great. Beers are all solid.
Rhinegeist - another great setup. Rooftop patio will be bomb during the summer. Beers are probably very slightly under Madtree, but still solid overall.
Listermanns - cool setup (started as a home brew shop). Stouts are fire.
Urban Artifact - another cool setup. In the basement of a church. Sours are good.
Taft's - probably the "worst" beer on my Cincy list, but it's a great venue in a great location.

Cleveland:
Great Lakes - You kind of have to go, cause GL. It does have a cool bar in the basement, too. I was disappointed in the lack of tap room only beers available there, though.
Masthead - haven't been, but their beers I've got down here are pretty good
Crooked Pecker - again, haven't been, but heard good things.
Fat Heads - nice venue, and solid beer
Noble Beast- another haven't been, but heard good things.
Brew Kettle - overall good list of beers

Columbus:
Wolf's Ridge - great stouts. They also kick out some pretty good cream ale variants. It's my favorite overall brewery in Columbus.
Hoof Hearted - honestly, kind of overrated, IMO, but they get the most publicity nationwide for Columbus.
Jackie O's - their taproom probably won't be open yet, but you can get beers to go. I think their rep precedes them.
Gemut - cool German beer setup. If you like German beers, definitely a must. Cool setup, too.
Pretentious - good sours
Zaftig - good stouts (not sure if they'll be on tap, though)
Land Grant - ok beer, but good setup.

Miscellaneous:
Dayton - Branch and Bone, Yellow Springs
Athens - Jackie O's, Little Fish
Jackson - Sixth Sense
Eastern Ohio, along the river - Hightower (really good Hazies and dessert sours)
Newark - Dankhouse (probably the best hazy IPAs and fruited sours in Ohio)

I need to make more trips to Cincy and Cleveland, haha

Cincy to CLE. If there's any that make great farmhouse ales that would be cool, but otherwise I'm not too picky.

I don't think anyone makes a great one that would be noteworthy, but Little Fish (hour and a half southeast of Columbus) and Rockmill (half hour southeast of Columbus... Brewery is on an old horse farm. They changed it up, so I'm not sure how it is now...taproom used to be in farmhouse, and you could roam the grounds) would probably be best bets

2017. I thought it was great for around $20. I love Paso Robles cabs.

Good to know, drink a lot of wine as well.....If you have a Bottle King near you, the 2015 Beronia Reserva Rioja is fantastic for $16.....It has started to disappear up here, I grab as much as I can.... @navamind

I left a couple bottles in the freezer Saturday night, because drunk ass me wanted to chill beer that I didn't need to drink. Mess, and a waste of a couple good beers.
