:D
Great beer, though very expensive, and Lost Abbey's quality control and customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I was volunteering, putting in my time as a club member. Will definitely let you know next year. They say it's the 5th largest Oktoberfest outside of Germany. Hard to believe, but I'll spread the rumor.

Had it last weekend. Shit is 11% so it's strong for beer, but I enjoyed it.

You should try Weyerbacher Insanity if you haven't already. It's Blithering Idiot aged in bourbon oak barrels. It comes out in the winter (Jan/Feb).

Been trying to drink a lot of the stuff coming in but there's a lot of beer on my porch recently.

Tonight I had
- Modern Times Fortunate Islands hoppy wheat beer out of San Diego. Awesome beer. So drinkable.
- New Holland Barrel Aged Wheatwine - Meh
- Noble Ale Works Nelson Showers Imperial IPA. Pretty delicious
- And now I'm sipping on a Spring House Big Gruesome chocolate peanut butter stout and it's delicious. Liquid Reece's

Big Gruesome sounds good, though I've never seen that around here. I need to get around to trying Terrapin's Liquid Bliss (chocolate peanut butter porter).

Pretty often people ask about what some of the better IPAs are out there. This... this is the answer.

Was heading over there (planned anyway) but got a late start so I skipped the trip. I'll try and get to Weyerbacher Brewery in November.... it's a hop a skip and hop away.

Couldn't agree more. Love all the Weyerbachers but man are they strong. Definitely not a 'gonna have a couple beers and do something else later' beers.

Figured I'd take wifey over...have a few and eat there. As I posted before...I'm not sure if wifey starting to enjoy 'good' beers is a good thing or not (wallet).

Check this out...we went out to lunch yesterday.....I get a Sam Adams Octoberfest........ she orders the same thing......like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? THEN, with some company coming over for the Birds game........... she picks up a case. Like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT...... I'm like OH YEAH.....I think. :noidea:
