When this guy came out of college, I had high hopes that the Rams could do something, anything to get him. Now I am reeeally glad that the coaches know more than I do. What a waste of good talent.

**Suspended Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon was arrested on marijuana possession charges Wednesday night.
According to police in Edmond, Oklahoma, Blackmon was stopped for a traffic violation and officers could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the car. After a search, marijuana was found and Blackmon was taken into custody. It's the latest transgression for the Jaguars wideout, who was suspended indefinitely last October following repeated violations of the substance-abuse policy. This certainly won't help Blackmon as he aims to get reinstated for the 2015 season. Blackmon has now been suspended three times since 2010.** :L

Sometimes the FO gets it right.

Actually, the Rams got lucky.

Reports were that Fisher was pissed when the Jags jumped them and took Blackmon. Chances are, if he was available at #6, he would've been a Ram.

Now, whether being around Fisher and Co. would've changed him or not is a different theory but the Rams definitely dodged a bullet on this one.

However, Rams are still looking for a #1 WR all these years later and have come up empty so far.

Definitely a blessing in disguise on that. While I was highly upset at the time that we weren't able to get him, looking back, it was definitely one of the best non picks the Rams had. Just wish the same could've been said about Lawrence Phillips.

Larry Philips. That's a blast of supreme headache from the past!

Wonder how much things would've been different if we had selected Marvin Harrison in that draft instead of him.

Wow UVA. That is a stark comparison with that question. Can you imagine what the GSOT would have done with Harrison joining the big three and perhaps Ricky Proehl would have stuck around. If onlys, eh?

The kid has all the tools but doesn't have the will power to rise above the influence, addiction is an ugly disease. You can take the boy outta the ghetto but cannot take the ghetto outta the boy!

You kid however they were talking about this on the NFL channel on the Radio. Whether you agree or not they were saying that MJ may soon find it's way off the substance abuse list even as a rec drug.

It's certainly not performance-enhancing, unless you're a competitive eater.

Vita I usually kid and was in this circumstance, but the reality is... It's legal in some states, so how do you punish that? I know testosterone is too and you get a 4 gamer for that as well.. SO it's confusing.

True and whether you in the medical efficacies of marijuana or not, where legal, it may soon be used by NFL teams for pain treatment.

At least that's what was being discussed on that radio broadcast.

If not everyone can use it then no one can use it, only fair way to legislate it.

I figured he was probably hanging around Ricky Williams, wherever he is now.
