Browns.

49ers have lost their last 4 games by 3 points or less, and there was some tough matchups on paper. They've also played 3 away games out of 5 total. Carlos Hyde will have a big game eventually and win a couple. NFC West also sucks balls this year, so a win against any of the 3 others in the division is possible.

Eli kun will naturally string together a few victories here and there. Now that Odell 'the douche nozzle' Beckham is out, the team might actually be able to focus and avoid stupid penalties costing the game.

The Browns meanwhile just lost to what I thought was the worst team in the league, the Jets... at home. Their major win chance is against the Bears, but I'm sure Mitch 'the fail' Tribusky will lead the Browns to another loss.

It's an interesting question. I suppose the easy answer would be the Browns but you never know. What I'm really interested in seeing is week 10. Giants @ Niners. They will likely both be winless. Somebody has to win, don't they?

Yes, thats why a betting man goes with the Browns. If I were not betting then the loser of the Giants/49ers. I think the Giants are disintegrating but their defense could win a game for them. 49ers are not that bad.

I dont think any of them will be winless, but the Giants have the toughest remaining schedule IMO and it could be them. Browns and Niners both get to play the Bears and Titans.

The Niners and Giants will tie week 10, remaining winless.

Do the Browns really count?

Then both fan bases will have the dubious distinction of seeing their team go 0-15-1 on the season, yet still not getting the first pick in the draft.

Earlier this year I didn't think Giants would be the last to win a game. Now not sure. They already had no OL, no RB, and no competent QB. Now they have no WR's.

Can the defense put up 3 TD's a game? That's what they will need.

Pretty sure 0-7 is a lock

San Fran may be our only saving grace, but they actually play respectable defense, so thats not a lock

Ill have to look and see when Dallas comes to town

The crazy thing about the Niners is they barely lost to the Rams and had a 4th qtr lead in Seattle. They aren't good, but they've nearly beaten 2 of what most "power polls" say are top 10 teams. But that's the NFL for you.

because they play very respectable defense

When you do that, you find yourself in games in the 4th quarter

Irony being, Shanahan was brought in as an OFFENSIVE genius

Browns probably the last team to win a game, or maybe will go winless.

I think the Niners are the best squad out of the three, and that division sucks...but they get three straight against the NFCE, two on the road.

The Giants will get a bye before hosting the Rams, I can see them winning that game unless Goff really develops over the next few weeks.

Now watch Cleveland beat the Titans next week, just to spite me

I will say this...Last season, when SD visited Cleveland, everyone seemed to call for the Browns first win

If Marriotta is still out vs the Browns? I could def see that being their first win

Matt Cassell doesnt belong in the NFL

The 49ers need what most underperforming organizations need-- a decent QB. If and when they get one, they'll be back.

There are some really, really horrible teams out there this year, with some horrible quarterbacks

Agreed, same with Jax, even more so with the Jags, seems like they have every piece in place outside of the QB

We're all on the same page here.

Where are all the good, young QB's? Doesn't seem to be very many pro-style guys in college at the moment.

It seems by far the single biggest factor in whether a team has a competitive future or not.

People say that Rosen and Darnold are the best hopes for the next big things coming out of college. Both offenses run some pro-style stuff. But I watch a decent bit of PAC-12 football, and though both guys have obvious skills, both have been underwhelming in terms of dealing with pressure.

It certainly helps, though they gave up 40+ to the Rams and the Hawks game was close mostly due to about 5 drops by Seattle receivers. Hoyer had less than 100 yards passing in that game.

I guess it could be a Rome wasn't built in a day type thing. He needs a QB.
