Who'd have thought that Colorado would be the team lumped in with Edmonton at the start of the season? I sure didn't.

Since the lockout, Colorado has followed the make-miss pattern in playoff appearances. Last year, they made it, this year they'll miss, so things look good for next season.

I think Chicago sneaks in. Hopefully not at the expense of Calgary, I always like seeing them in the playoffs... if they were consistently good they would make a good playoff rival for Detroit.

It would be a fun series, Calgary has played much more disciplined hockey in the last couple of months and that Detroit power play always gives Calgary fits. First things first though, big game against St. Louis tonight, dare I say a must win?

Kings started the day in 8th. were in 11th after the 2nd period and finished the day in 5th.
