barring a complete meltdown or losing their roster to injuries, I think the canucks will make the playoffs.

can't believe the Red Wings lost..

From the article: Who to root for tonight if you are a Kings fan? Calgary over San Jose.

I'm down with that.

I guess that's going for the division instead of just a playoff spot.
seems counter-intuitive to root for one of the 70s to join you at 72

Those Pacific division teams have a ton of games down the stretch against each other. Here's hoping the Ducks and Stars stumble down the stretch to open a spot for Calgary.

/Did the Wings forget that there was a game last night?

tough inter-conference battles lay ahead for all of us, with the exception of the one or two odd eastern conference match ups for a few teams. From here on in its really the beginning of the playoffs for us for the next 6 weeks.

The EC teams in the first 6 seeds looks to be a lock in at this point. We have about 10 teams fighting for spots in the WC. Crazy.

Very pleased to see the Sharks at the top of the division. I was really worried about them for awhile.

Fucking 3 pt games ARGGGGGGGGGGGGH!!!! The only good news about the Sharks/Flames game tonight, was that they won in a shoot-out, not OT. That means the win does not count in the coming battle of the first tie-breakers.

I'm happier about the 2 points. I'm also happier about the Sharks having 13 home games remaining to just 6 road games. :D

Just curious, it says that LA would root for Vancouver over Boston. Is there any reason why? Not that I think Vancouver will be caught, but I don't see any reason for wanting any WC team to beat an EC team.
