With the expectations going into the season for both the kings and the blues, it's hard to imagine that they have fallen down in the ranks as fast as they have. This was supposed to be a break out year for both teams. One of my friends was predicting at the beginning of the season that the Wild would make the playoffs and have a decent run. I mocked him relentlessly thinking how ridiculous that is. Looks like the joke is on me now.

This is one of the most exciting playoff races in recent history... something tells me we are looking at some wild 7 game series coming up too. For a while I was worried about getting caught by fucking Nashville of all teams, but the Wings have picked up steam. Vancouver seems to have a choke hold on the conference lead, but their defense is being held together by Band-Aids.
