That is so wrong it’s not even funny.

There are two sides of a basketball court. As much as he doesn’t do much on offense, he more than makes up for it on defense just by keeping the other team from driving to the hole.

Rudy had a team best -2 plus/minus. He needs to be on he court. Wolves can not win without him.

The fact that you could watch Reid stink it up like he did tonight and Rudy anchor the defense like he did when he was on the court and think that proves your point is absolutely absurd.

Because Reid can defend too.

And he can move his feet defensively.

The plus minus from tonight was a lot about the timing of shot making. Minnesota bench players collectively missed every shot they took.

Wolves will not compete with OKC in this series unless Reid plays well.

But, there won't be many games where Minny hits just 29% of their treys and the Thunder hit 52%.

Thunder only took 21 and many of those makes came in the 4th after they were well in control. I think those stats are a bit misleading on the OKC side.

Minnesota obviously needs to shoot better.

More steals than turnovers for the Thunder, that can keep happening though.

Crazy to me that people think game 1 was some type of aberration.

Some of these games are going down to the wire.

But OKC is so good defensively and in transition. They string together those stops and can bury teams quickly.

Any given 7 games games against an opponent, OKC going to get 2 blowouts wins. You are not blowing them out. That means the other team has to get 4/5 of the more competitive contests.

Not a lot of margin for error.

SGA is the MVFTM

Most Valuable Free Throw Merchant! Embiid won this title in past years but SGA has claimed it all by himself now.

It was an aberration in certain aspects. If you think minny miss 26 open 3s again you are not a honest person

Give Reid, NAW, and Done 24 open looks again in game 2 and you have to assume to make about half of those at least

Watching him vs Brunson in the finals won’t be a fun watch. 2 guys going out of their way to sell fouls with the ridiculous flopping. Only difference is SGA isn’t a cry baby like Brunson and doesn’t bitch to the refs the rare times a call doesn’t go his way

Oh bullshit, he averaged 9 a game. Thats nothing when you look at the other 30 point scorers this century.

They have to make them to have any chance because the Thunder are not going to give up points in the paint. They can change up if they have to but no reason to if Minny isn’t going to make shots.

Yep completely agree. This is the same strategy okc used against the lakers and against the wolves in the regular season. Reid killed them in the last 3 games because he was making those shots. This is a quick series if 2 of those 3 don’t produce

They asked Ant about it after the game, he said they had to get in the film room and figure it out because there was literally no where to go in the lane with all the gap closing the Thunder did.

I don’t agree with it but after last night the Twolves dropped to last in the odds to win it all.

Thunder -250
Knicks +550
Pacers +850
Twolves +950

They have had multiple cold games like that in the playoffs. I am not sure i have seen them get that many wide open looks from the outside, so I would hope it was an aberration.
