I only saw the third period last night, but the Stars look like they tapped out in game 4. Hopefully, they can get some juice from the home fans in game 5, but I have to give credit to the Oil, they have really stepped up their game.

The first 30 I thought they played their asses off but you could see the second 30 the Oilers took it to a level and the Stars didn't respond. That 3rd was brutal.

Not being able to beat Stu despite great chances looked like it got into the Star's heads. They tried to make the perfect play and Edmonton got in their way while they tried to make that happen.

Yeah, they talked about that during the game and while I can understand why you'd want to rise above it, some things need to be answered. Bouchard should have eaten at least a couple pairs of mitts after that whack on Hintz.

When you don't do that, the other team realizes they can do stuff like Draisaitl shooting his left foot out and falling when a stick contacts his right foot and get away with it.


And if you're not built for that, why aren;t you? It's the fucking playoffs.
