My $0.02 - To be fair - Cowlishaw asked a reasonable question about a team that looked every bit the part of “lifeless” in those 1st two periods. And he was also the hockey beat writer here before becoming a lead columnist in the late 90’s so it isn’t like he doesn’t know shit.

He was the AHL MVP. He and Stankoven were tied at the hip until Logan was called up. I’m quite excited for the kid. And I’ve seen enough of Dellandrea. I’d be a little more excited with Bischel in for Suter but I can’t have all the kids in there.

Much like in the Vancouver series, there really isn't a lot the Stars can do to influence how often they are shorthanded.

Other than adopting the attitude of "if we're getting called for weak shit, we need to go all Marchand on 'em". Still gonna be shorthanded, but at least it will be satisfying.
