He is not going to last the season in the NFCW. There are some heavy hitters in the secondary around here.

On one hand, with rams WR dropping the ball all over the place, his signing makes sense. On the other hand, I that the rams bigger need was a bigger WR who can win the ball on the outsides down the field, not a possession receiver.

I think he's just coming in to teach some of these guys how to run routes and catch. And if he can teach Tavon a bit about the slot, let's roll.

In the last 30 years the Pats have won more SB's than the entire NFCW.

Just thought I'd share that with you.

Rex U got one of those helmets with no face mask don't you? It's says "I'm special"

Remember that 85 super bowl against the Bears? Tony Eason!

NFC West seems to have a lot of trouble closing it out. In last 15 years or so Cards lost, Hawks have lost twice, 9ers lost... I think Rams lost the last one they were in? Know they won the Faulk year with that 1 yard stand, but that was it.

Think your facts are wrong though right? Within 30 years 3 SBOWL wins from San Fran (all NFC West if I'm not mistaken), 1 from St. Louis, 1 from Seattle. Pats have 4. Last 15 or so years you'd be correct.

Rex has been giving hand jobs to @sonnyblack65 and he gets carried away with himself sometimes. Just have to tell Rex to relax..

Most of all I hope he stays healthy, if he can contribute even by being a locker room presence it would be nice.

I remember all 8 SB's that the Pats have played in including my favorite in 2001 and I also remember correcting the statement that you quoted.

I hope not. I like Wes, he's a great reciever and he gave everything he had for the Pats

Me neither but in all honesty he really is only one hit away from being out of the league

Sorry Bud but he was a sell out. SD cut him, Miami used him for special teams. Pats offered him 14 mill for 2 season off season and he thought he was worth 10 mill a year. He went o Denver and Peyton with his throws had him have 3 concussions and didn't get the ring last year

and what professional athlete isn't? He and his agent thought he could have gotten more so why not try it?

....don't fret,...in a few years he won't even know what money is.

I don't think he currently knows what money is.... Wonder if he still remembers his hair appointments with Doctor Leonard or if he cancelled them

Beating the Rams in '01' was crazy. No one thought they could win and when it was over and my buddy left I just stared at my TV for 10 minutes until my wife asked me if I was OK. It was at that point that the adrenaline seemed to wear off and I realized I was drunk as a skunk.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before, but I'll say it again. I want Wes to retire while he still has his senses and then I want he and the New England management to mend fences so he can be inducted into the Patriots HOF.

That is the right thing to do.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was out there just on 3rd downs. Rams have a historically(?) bad 3rd down conversion rate on offense rate now at 23.76% which is impossibly bad considering the worst 3rd down rate is usually around 30% and usually a team that is designed around running the ball and having a star running back is supposed to be good at moving the chains. Probably the most important aspect on the Rams from moving them from a .500 team to a playoff team would be moving that 23% 3rd down conversion rate to at least 35%.

What fences are there to mend? If the patriots want to retire him they will. Sure they wanted him back but in the grand scheme of things they know it's a business.

What fences are there to mend?

There is some animosity that needs to be cleaned up. Nothing major for sure, but..............
