We have the better QB of those available, and let me tell you why it matters.

Taylor Heinicke is about the 28th or 29th ranked QB in the league, taking the best or "better QB" of those we're talking about, ONLY moves you up to about the 22nd, 21st, and at best 20th best ranked QB in the league when you need a guy who's at least 10 spots higher than that to be real contenders. I haven't read it or heard anybody postulate that beyond a suspect organization, perhaps the addition of Wince adds another reason why players are choosing to go elsewhere. ("Washington?? Naw they just got Wince and they aren't going anywhere with that guy!")

Stop trying to convince me that you have reading and/or comprehension issues. I'm not buying it!!
Nobody compared him to Heinicke, I just noted how each ranked, and that, in a manner, supported your assertion that the team improved at the position. It's also untrue that Wince is getting a bad rap unless there are instances in which you can point to while in Philly, that he, outside of that first year played to his draft status or anywhere close to his first year there in subsequent seasons. After that, he went to the one place in which there was near-universal agreement that he could resurrect his career... Indy!! Ok, so while there ( his second team in two years) show us evidence in which he was even average in big (meaningful) games there. Now he comes to Washington and YOU say that he's getting a bad rap... Please tell us how and why you've arrived at this conclusion beyond he's temporarily wearing our team colors. You and I both know that if there were games being played right now and Washington was about to face either the Colts or Eagles with Wince at QB, we'd both have Washington as our favored to win that game. What I can do is praise @Dean for his relentless devotion to a team that has beaten that sort of willfulness out of most of us! Hey @Dean, if you don't mind, how old are you? I ask only because there are a bunch of us who are literally too old and beaten up by this team to have the passion that you seem to have. You ae against Wentz from the start. We have a QB. in fact, we got Wentz for less draft capital then A. Smith. You are the hater. The guy has upside but you guys totally dismiss that notion.

No, he is not. For those of you applauding this trade, this was a continuation of stupid moves that use up valuable long term assets for nothing. What is he going to give us, 1 or 2 more wins over what we have? Maybe?? But the chorus is, it’s only a couple of 3rd round picks, that’s nothin! Right?! Well, no. Third round picks is where most starting OL men go. And we just lost an AllPro at that position. Oh well, wen can carry the team all by himself, right?

Saying that Wentz isnt an upgrade over TH at all is simply not true.

What wentz has that is an upgrade over TH:

Wentz has better stats.
Wentz has an nfl caliber arm.
Wentz played like a probowler for the first half of the year.

What TH has that wentz doesnt:
Moxie
He’s beloved by the fan base.
Guts
Team first attitude; beloved by the team

Wentz negatives:
Played like shit the second half of the year
Costs too much
Selfish “me first” attitude
Not a leader of men

TH negatives:
Noodle arm. Cant make all the throws.
Cant simply option TH bc he isnt big enough to take the hits.

Makes incorrect reads bc of talent level? Backupness? Nobody knows for sure.

Wentz probably slota in what to a spot that he deserves - not as good as the top tier, barely makes the second tier. That costs a team $28million, especially when the too tier is gonna make $50million a year.
