The Patriots are expected to place veteran C/G Ryan Wendell on season-ending injured reserve, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports. The move is being made to make room for center Bryan Stork, who is eligible to come off short-term IR and is expected to play Sunday. Elsewhere on the injury front, rookie G Tre' Jackson (left knee) is making progress and is viewed to be about a week or two away from a return.
