At least we won't have to endure watching Urlacher lace'em up for the viqueens or some rediculous shit like that! Great player, probably could have played two more years if the egos of the team and his own hadn't gotten the best of bofadems.

Oh well, bitter sweet day, he wont play anymore, but will be a first ballot HOF'er.

He's the biggest egomaniac since Brett Favre. Urlacher will be back and back and back and back and until then he'll stay the same mouthy bitch with the barbed wire tattoo he's always been. You haven't seen or heard the last from this self-absorbed asshole.

Oh no deniying that hes a self absorbed asshole, true. Heard him on Dan Patrick this morning though, and his ego will not allow him to play for less than 4 to 6 mill a year. No one is offering that. He said today when Dan was prodding him about scenarios for him possibly returning, "there is no scenario that will get me back on the field."

I think he's done, but if not then i"m wrong, and who give a fuck what i have to say about anything anyway?

Still don't get why you hate this guy so much? Of all the assclowns in professional sports, THIS is the guy that gets your goat?

I respect guys that say whats on their minds, even if its flawed or even dumb. Thats why i like Barkley to this day. He has no filter, isnt expected to, so he says what he wants.

Commendable post sir. Wish Bret Farve would have given me the same opportunity.
I'm sure Aaron Rodgers will someday, someday soon i hope.

Classy post coming from a Packer fan. Coming over from ESPN I'm just not used to that.
But BU just didn't have legs anymore. It was his time. And glad he decided to retire. Instead of embarrassing himself signing with another team.

Physically we are better off without BU, but mentally we have a huge hole to fill. BU and his adjustments kept AR at near human levels.

Most everyone is friends here. Team boards are pretty much off limits. You will find out what's acceptable, and what's not...general rule...don't be a douche, and if ya feel ya hafta, at least be funny, witty, cheeky, etc. about it. Make folks laugh once in awhile, and you'll be alright

The ESPN boards went to pot the minute they farmed the moderation stuff out to a private company. The rules for those boards were quite strange.

I find it funny that Beardown07's avi is of Master Shake. Dude reminds me of Jay Mariotti.

It sucks that we won't be seeing him on the sidelines this year, but I'm real excited about the new additions at linebacker. Greene and Bostic have the potential to develop into a really solid LB duo. Maybe not to the level of Urlacher-Briggs, but the upside is there.
