Welker suspended 4 games!!

Has anyone heard any updates on the new NFL drug policy? Any chance Welker plays for the Broncos next Sunday in Seattle? It goes without saying, Welker would give our offense more options to play with against a very tough Seattle D.

It is possible. They are still hammering out details of the new drug policy. Once those are finalized he is clear of suspension.

ESPN had an article up mentioning that he would have been available yesterday if they could get the details done.

To recap, once they finish the new rules (Hopefully this week, the changes have already been approved.) Welker would be available.

The deal is pretty close Shefty of ESPN just reported, it's not done though. One of my buddy's suggested he it may be best if he doesn't play this week and get him 2 more week's of rest and health. It's a good point. Caldwell needs to play better. He didn't have his best game yesterday.
