Some thoughts.
-Carle almost reached Hartnell levels of suck tonight. Really a poor showing for him.
-Coburn continues to be a beast.
-I liked that Pronger took a run at only person all game: Gagne.
-Richards continue to challenge Hartnell for worst breakaway moves of all time.
-JvR had his skating legs tonight, but not his dominant game that he normally brings with that kind of energy.
-The Douche went Leighton and gave up a pair weak 5-hole goals. I think Douche really hurt himself tonight in the race to be 1a.
-Does the team know they are allowed to try to score while on the PP? Seems like they only want to score while shorthanded. What ever happened to the PP set-up of "Get the puck to Giroux!"?
-Fuck Hartnell. He didn't really do a whole lot tonight for good or ill, but fuck him anyway.
-Zherdev almost had the highlight of the season when he skated around the 3 Lightning forwards, danced around the 4th, and nearly pulled a spin move on the 5th to get himself a mini breakaway. That move along with his goal means another 6 weeks of winter for that line.
-Did I mention fuck Hartnell?
