Oh...I forgot 15 penalties.
Penalties is actually what killed us. Specifically, Josh Norman's 4 for 5 hands to the face, with at least 3 of them extending drives, Lavauo's holding on a running play to run the clock down before we kick a FG and garçon's push off (which was a BS call).

We could easily be 6 and 1 but this team knows how to lose. If anything comes out of this season,,, we'll at least know that. KC has been good but cmon man put the ball in the fucking end zone down by the goal line. Total domination first half with only a 3 point lead. Hopkins now has cost us in the last two games, and Norman with his hands to face BS was like what the fuck. The play after one of his hands to face he does it again just didn't get called. Then his two Carlos Rodgers like missed pick sixes was a joke,,, catch the ball like you're worth states and the game is over. My God what could have been these last two games. They were not really playing the run and KC still lit em up. I'm thinking you aint gonna find any better FA out there or draftees any better, but the Skins will let him sign with Jets, or Houston. I know I know,, Cincy defense aint that good. We hear it all the time after the Skins dominate a team. 4-3-1

Are you counting the 3 INTs and 1 pick 6 Josh Norman dropped today? 55 million don't get buy shutdown CBs like it used to I guess.
Yeah...nobody is more pissed than Norman I'm sure. I'm not worried though, he usually catches them.

Sorry Norman didn't appear all that pissed on the sideline. The missed FG had a lot to do with the high snap. You see it throughout the league, those plays are timed so tightly a high snap often leads to a miss. But jeez you have to win tye game there.

I came away extremely dissapointed but happy that we appear to have found an offense. I didn't expect a deep playoff run, I wanted to see growth and one side of the ball appears to be pretty far along. But damn we should have won both of these last 2 games. We need to learn how to win.

As long as we can not stop the run, we will go nowhere. Finding DL and ILBs that can tackle and stop the run has to be priority 1 in the offseason.

On a side note, their ability to run and our inability to tackle is why we didn't win, but the penalties were also crippling. Norman was front and center on the penalty stage. he can blame the ref for the first or even the second hands to the face. but the others he has to know it is being called, and watched for, at that point.

Yeah in addition to DL help they need to find a monster ILB to pair with Compton. He was all over the field as he usually is, Foster again was a non-factor.

Curious why you believe that the Redskins will let Cousins walk. At this pt I really see just about no way that the Redskins don't sign Cousins to a long term deal in line with other high $$ QB contracts. It is becoming obvious that Kirk can run that team just about better than anyone could as long as he avoids the killer mistakes which should be correctable.

I just think that the near misses this season are just part of the growing pains for a young team. If they build around their nucleus they should be able to improve and avoid these type of mistakes in the future.

Thought that it was very interesting that Bradshaw stated that he believed that Cousins can be an elite QB capable of winning a SB. Pretty good recommendation.

I thought Tress way did a great job of taking the high snap and getting the hold down. It was all one motion so the timing should of not have been off. Hopkins just shanked it. Should of have been 6-2 at the break. dallas now has Cle next week. They are the favorites to win the division but I think we still can grab a WC. The whole NFc is wide open. There is no dominate team.

Yeah I don't mean to claim the snap was to blame, just that it played a part. The timing was off a bit and you see misses a lot when the timing is messed up.

I am pretty sure I'm the only Redskins fan that didn't have a problem with the Garcon call, it appeared to me as if he did push off. But what a huge call.

Hopkins did not have to hesitate when he made his motion to kick that is why I don't blame the hold at all. I do agree with you that Garcon extended his hand to push off. The thing is that the Db was back peddling so he didn't have to touch him. Ticky tack call but Garcon did extend his arm.

Still can't believe there are fans defending Josh Norman. If it was made clear that what he was doing was going to be called he needed to be a professional and make the adjustment.
