You can't toss the ball forward and consider it a fumble.

What? That was an offensive play. When the Bengals recovered the ball they had possession. That's a illegal forward pass. Because it's a god awful butchery of officiating it couldn't be challenged, that's like trying to challenge on a missed penalty.
