With all of the recent transactions and potentially more in the pipeline, McVay has let it be known he is into team-building mode. WE shall see how this translates into a new approach come Sunday but if we lose again, expect more moves in the near future.

Yea, ALR, I think both Phillips and McVay had had enough of Peters and his thuggery bullshit from the hood and they just wanted to move his ass and cut their losses. He was not going to get extended because of his consistent getting beat by not even top receivers. He tried to make up for it by getting two INTs this year but he had worn-out his welcome and had become a locker room cancer that may include Gurley. I would not be surprised if Gurley is sent packing for draft picks ala Belicheat and recently cut Michael Bennett!

At this point, I wouldn’t be opposed to sending Gurley out if it doesn’t damage the cap too much. To me, the organization is not being upfront about his health, which indicates that he is having a lot more health issues than previously thought. And it’s a possibility that they don’t trust the other running backs enough to take over that load and the end results are what’s happened the past few weeks.

What has come out about the Ramsey trade is that McVay, Snead, Phillips, and the DB's coaches had a meeting during this week after the 49er loss. They discussed the trading of Peters and all of the possibilities involved if they did not secure Ramsey who they had not done the deal yet before they completed the Peters trade.

The Rams have named David Edwards as the starter at left guard because Demby was so bad replacing Notebook against the 49ers.

The Rams are beat up and on Sunday will field a team that looks very different from the one they began the season with, but they must find a way to win on Sunday or this season is over. Time to panic. I feel bad for Peters but he just wasn't learning or improving. QB's would target him all game long and he would always end up costing the Rams.

Demby's days are numbered as well as Corbett took reps this week as the primary back-up. Edwards steps into Noteboom's slot and if he plays well, expect him to be the starter going forward. That leaves Corbett as the back-up for either Blythe or Allen as Corbett took reps at Center. If Allen continues to get beat and screws-up, Corbett will be inserted as Goff cannot continue to try to generate offense while running for his life.
