Murphy returning is probably what gives us any chance in this game. The DL has been horrible against the run and with the secondary playing off everyone by 5-10 yards it doesn't matter if we filled the secondary with the likes of the talent of Lott, Sherman, Sanders, and Fulcher...
Love the title to the thread... Hopefully after the game, Seattle doesn't have the Bird Flu from vomiting all over the joint...
Secondary definitely looks like it's taking a bit of a hit... Hopefully with us healthy up front now - we can put some pressure on the QB so our DB's will have an easier job staying in coverage for a shorter amount of time...
One positive with us going to our 4th string RT, is that ATL only has 5 total sacks for the year so far... Hopefully we don't give their DL a season best day in terms of pressuring Geno... If our offense can take advantage of a poor ATL Pass rush, we'll have a good shot of pulling off the upset on the road..
One thing that stands out this game is how well ATL's backup QB, Penix knows Grubb and this offense... He probably knows it better than most Seahawk players on the roster... Grubbs will have to throw a few surprises in there... Specifically with hand signals., etc. because I'm sure Penix will be talking to the DC quite often during the game...
Need to force Turn overs, Need to stop the run AND FOR ALL THAT IS HOLY can we blitz a little more? I get they want to get pressure with just 4 but lets put in some more Blitz packages. If what i heard is right the Hawks are below 28th in blitz count.
