I'm still on the fence. Last year took me out of his corner. And this year I'm quickly growing tired of him. Only reason I don't want to up & fire him now is because I don't want the players to quit. Hiring a new coach midseason is rarely successful.

Also, usually interim coaches are either the OC or DC and I don't think either of our coordinators are ready to be a headcoach not even an interim one. Given the Rooney's penchant for hiring young DCs as their HC, all their potential candidates would still be coaching during the season and unavailable for a mid-season hire. Their MO for hiring HCs is something that can only be done properly during the offseason.

So, given your and my points even if we have a losing record this season (Knock on Wood!!!), they won't fire Tomlin until the offseason. It's their MO!!!

Vegas has the Steelers opening up this game as -2.5pt favorites on the road. That's awful generous. lol

Bucs are now a 1.5 pt favorite ........ 4 pt movement over the week !

Typically when this happens, we end up finding out the original line was correct and the public was overreacting to a couple of games ...

Could be in some trouble here...hope Sens plays well, but he's a rank n file player, not a play maker, but the best man needs to play.

I hope they keep Sens on a VERY short leash tonight. I don't want a repeat of the GB & BAL games last year. He was repeatedly abused in those games and nobody benched him.
