I can't watch the game but it sounds like this team is sucking on the road again and be down 21-0 by the end of the 1st quarter. It also sounds like Kaepernick is stinking it up again and the O-Line looks terrible, and the CB's can't cover a paper bag it's going to be a long game and season. The only bright side is they'll be able to add a really good CB or OT in next year's draft because they'll be picking high.

Except that we might need to use that high pick on Jared Goff!

I hope not, but they are not giving us much confidence today. If we're not sniffing the playoffs, we might as well do our own version of Suck for Luck. We just need to find a rhyme.

Don't get me wrong. I root for Kap as much as anyone just as I rooted for Smith while he was here, but this is the year Kap either shows he's the man or that he's not. Goff looks like an elite QB. I'd love to somehow be in position to draft him if we don't have a chance to make the playoffs (the overwhelming evidence right now is that we are nowhere close to being a playoff team) whether that be with a poor record or trading up.

Yes they are that bad. Looking at our schedule. Our best chance at another win is Dec.6 against the Bears

Right now I would rather get the O-Line right but if the right QB is at their pick they have to take them so it wouldn't be the end of the world. It wasn't a good sign that a guy that just got to the team was named starter at RG, it shows that all the mid and late round lineman Baalke has drafted either aren't ready or aren't very good and I'm guessing they just aren't very good.

Right now I would rather get the O-Line right but if the right QB is at their pick they have to take them so it wouldn't be the end of the world. It wasn't a good sign that a guy that just got to the team was named starter at RG, it shows that all the mid and late round lineman Baalke has drafted either aren't ready or aren't very good and I'm guessing they just aren't very good.

We somehow need to find Belicheck's formula for finding offensive lineman in the late rounds or as undrafted free agents.

They also need CB help in my view the guys he has drafted aren't capable of covering top NFL WR's. So right now I would say they need a RT, RG, at least one CB maybe 2, a QB and maybe a pass rusher.

I would rather strengthen the OL than get a skill position. Doesn't matter who you have behind center if the pocket collapses with a 3-man rush.

Disagree. You cannot win with this type of quarterback play. That has got to be the first change.

Pass rush is more important than CB play. These days no CB can really cover a top NFL WR.

You could put 10 men on the O line but if the QB cannot read defenses and does not understand throwing mechanics and the integral part proper footwork plays in it, you cannot win.
