Bortles is looking almost competent...if he'd hold the ball a little longer and let his guys clear on those crossing routes they'd have a much better chance of making the play and much less of a chance of getting their clocks cleaned

Let's be fair about this. Other NFL teams have a business checkbook with the actual cash to pay the guarantees required by the superstars. Mr Davis has a vinyl covered checkbook with the check register neatly tucked into a vinyl flap, and the digits are too small to pay more than 1 of those guarantees...and it can't be one of the top 30 or so, if it is, all the full time employees will get a check that bounces...that's how the Raiders have operated for years...they just can't seem to manage their cash. It might be their shitty stadium deal, inability to get other income streams flowing well or they're just really stupid, but that's been most of their issues since the 80's.
