Basically just NO at this point. After you made the comment I went and looked and saw the improvements made by Atlanta and TB.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Carolina dropped off and won just 9 games or so,.

Chargers first team defense shut down the Cards first team offense? wow. Just preseason, but it's better than the Cards offense dominating them in preseason. Now I have reason to watch part of this game when it replays on NFL network, I thought there'd be no reason to after hearing Rivers wouldn't play.

No still has one of the best offensive teams in the league. If they're defense can be top 20, they can win 9 or 10 games.

NO...yeah, they would be my pick as well. The do have the weakest DEF on paper...but Dennis Allen has returned them to a better personnel fitting 4-3...they should be better than LY...typically a strong home team, which out the gates makes me think OAK will have a hard time winning that one even though they are a better team imo...Saints have a lot of winnable games...9 is possible, but not expected.

CAR...I agree 100%...they do get Benjamin back, but I think it will be difficult for Cam to repeat that level of play...the front 7 is so good that the back end doesn't have to be great which imo they played over their heads on the back end LY...still look like a 10 to 10+ win type team.

Winning in the superdome in an early afternoon game for a West coast team especially on opening day is extremely difficult.

I know but when I saw the schedule....it was one of the more intriguing non Divisional games to me.

There are some interesting matchups. Our defense is going to be a lot better, think your defense isn't going to be as good. And I'll concede NO has a better offense, but I like Carr and the other pieces we added to an already good offense.

Do'n't blow all your SportsHoopla cash between now and then. I'll make it a 50-75 wager.
