Cowboys 27 Chiefs 21. Tougher defense and offense for the Chiefs this week. Should be a good test to see where they actually are this season.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that some SEC teams could beat Jacksonville..seriously. I still think the Chiefs can get it done though. The Giants had six giveaways against Dallas and were still in position to win the game late...on the road.

Chiefs 21 - Cowboys 17

Andy Reid knows how to beat the Cowboys. I don't know if the Chiefs D is up to the task though. I think this game is going to come down to the last few minutes where there will be a turnover from Romo, but we'll see.

The Chiefs can definitely get it done. They have a defense that has the talent to match up against all the weapons the Cowboys have to offer. I am just very interested to see how the Chiefs offense does against a better defense that can actually put pressure on Smith. I just think with the new Offense, Quarterback, and even new defense there will be some bumpy times this season and I guess I just think this is one of those games where some things are going to go wrong. The Chiefs though look like a team on their way up possibly to the playoffs as the AFC looks very weak this year. 9-7 could definitely get a team into the playoffs.

Cowboys have a lot of weapons on offense, arguably as many as anybody in the league so that alone will keep them in most games. Cowboys are generally very good against the run, their achilles heel on D has always been the deep ball. I'm not sure Alex Smith is capable of beating them by airing it out the way a guy like Eli can. I'll give the nod to the Boys.

Never trust Romo on the road. I think he tries to force it to Dez Bryant a few times after last week, and it costs him. Chiefs win 20-17.

I gotta be honest I don't think this is really a factor. His home and road numbers don't really differentiate much at all. They take a very slight dip but I think that can be attributed to playing divisional games in Washington, Philly and the Meadowlands.

If the Cowboys don't beat themselves with bad penalties and unforced turnovers I give them the nod.

agreed, though i'm thinking with Reid's knowledge and experience with playing against Romo and company'll help...

How much does he really know though considering they just switched defensive schemes from the 3-4 to the 4-3 and changed who is actually calling the plays on offense. I know he can know some on personnel but I would say the Cowboys have the same advantage in knowing what kind of offense Reid likes to run.

That's a great point. New co-ordinators on both sides of the ball will make it tougher for Reid.

You could be right. The Cowboys are arguably the most Jekyll and Hyde team in the league. Literally nothing surprises me with them. Romo could throw 4 TDs and close in on 400 yards or throw for 150 with 3 INTs.

Ok, then never trust Romo period. I still think the Chiefs win as long as Charles is healthy, but I think it will be low scoring. I don't think the Chiefs protect the quarterback well enough to put up a lot of points.

It's going to be interesting to see if KC is for real. Based on the Jags game, I'm not at all convinced. Hell, I just got a call from Gus Bradley. He said he heard I was recruited in high school and thought I might be able to help the Jags out.

hard to say how this could go, I would only add that I have never seen a team play worse on both sides of the ball than the Jags did this past weekend. I doubt there was much to be learned from that game. why they hang on to Gabbert is beyond me.

There's no doubt KC will come to play. Last time they met it went to overtime before the Cowboys won.

The game changer may be Cowboy's defensive changes focusing on more zone and forcing turnovers. But it still seems like one injury can change it from a good defense to mediocre. I wouldn't bet on either team.
