After a bye week, the Dallas Cowboys come to the Coliseum in LA to play the Los Angeles Rams. The last time we faced the Cowboys in a playoff game was 1986 when we blanked them 20-0. Let's hope we come out with a killer extinct and put the Caboys to rest for this year.

The game is 5:00pm, PST on Saturday the 12th of January. With our triple-headed running back weapon, I think this offense just got too much to contain and I hope our Defense stops giving up the big plays especially on the run. I 'll be there as I know everyone else will be. See you all then. Go Rams!!

This game will come down to ONE main thing.... Can Wade Phillips find a way to get our D to stop the run??? We have been a total fail in that area so far this season and you know that Zeke and the Cowboys will try to exploit this.

A secondary question will be about McVay, his playcalling and his use of our now quite potent one/two punch of RB's... Can he put together a gameplan to keep a very good Dallas D off balance???

If we go one and done in the playoffs again, where does that leave us and McVay? Not saying that McVay will be getting fired or anything like that, but he definitely loses a bit of the "boy genius" label...

Well Boys/Girls it's time to see what this team is made of. We got 3 things in favor going into this game, 1)Home field 2)having a week off! 3)we're fairly healthy. It would really suck to lose early, after a great season, plus, I would like a rematch with the Saints. I think it will be a good game! Go RAMS!! :hope:

I hope they are preparing as it if this is an away game. I imagine a ton of Dallas fans in attendance.

yup...not sure what's up with La fans out there, you would have thought that with the team being good and all that all the home games would be packed. However you see a lot more opposing team fans than normal in rams games this yr.

On a side note. Matt LaFleur has reached his career nadir. He has been selected as the HC of the Green Bay Packers. The Jon Gruden-Sean McVay tree of coaching is expanding.

I think Jon Gruden's absence from coaching for a decade disqualifies him from planting this tree! Retro, I believe McVay has planted and watered his own tree and La Fleur is the first branch.

I'm worried about 1 and 2...

As previously stated home field seems to be hit and miss as an advantage for the Rams, however Goff plays better in LA. Last year after the starters sat in the last week (giving them a week off) they came out flat and seemed out of sync. I hope that is not the case this year.

If the Rams come out with intensity and keep it going all night they will win, looking for big run plays from our two all pro backs and when that has the Cowboys on their heels Goff can go deep for the score.
The defense has been taking the ball away lately. If the Rams get 5 or more takeaways or big defensive plays Saturday its a done deal. The Cowboys won't be able to come back from that.

If anything, it would be the Kyle Shanahan tree, if not just McVay's IMO.

Somewhat surprised at LaFleur's hiring, as the Titans' offense wasn't all that this year.

I don't believe LaFleur ever coached under head coach Kyle Shanahan. My understanding of the coaching tree is that your assistants (in this case LaFleur) from the team (the Rams) you are the head coach of are hired as head coaches while you (McVay) are still the head coach of that team.

Zac Taylor appears to be next at some point in a couple of years.

Rams are not getting much love even though they are 7 point favorites,
I hope they come out like a rested machine and puts a woopin on the boys.

I'm actually glad about that. Maybe it'll give the players a chip on their shoulder and make them extra focused to show up Saturday night and prove those people wrong.
