This is getting ridiculous.

3 straight seasons ending in Seattle?

If they are hell bent on having the Hawks and Rams at the end of the season, at least rotate home and away.

We somehow gotta learn how to beat those azzwipes in their house. Then maybe they'll change the scheduling.

Looks as though we have yet another tough schedule overall. Hope the draft is good to us.

Third toughest schedule I believe? They showed the top 5 on ESPN, but I almost missed it flipping channels.

Guess I'm in the minority, but I don't mind Seattle the last game. By that time our team has jelled into what it is going to be, be it for better or worse. And we've had the opportunity to evaluate probably our toughest opponent over the course of the year. Also, the odds of us beating them the last game have to catch up sooner or later. And I'm sure we're all in agreement that nothing would be more satisfying than causing Seattle to lose a playoff berth or at least home field advantage on the last day of the season. Nope, I don't have a problem with it at all.

It would be satisfying, but why should they consistently get that home field advantage in week 17? Level the playing field.

You gotta point there Shopson. But it is what it is. Seattle is the defending champs. The league probably thinks they deserve some ambiguous perks for that reason.

:agree: They also played on the road at Seattle in week 14 back in 2011 and week 17 in 2010. That's 4 of the last 5 seasons they've finished in Seattle and the other season they played there late. At least it was one of the games I knew I would get correct in the guess the Rams schedule contest.

But they weren't champs before that and yet they still got that final home game against the Rams in 2 of the previous 3 years.

Learn to beat the SeaChickens in that game and all is well. I don't think the NFL is thinking the dome will fill up for that match and they want to showcase Seattle. I do think it is bullshit though:noidea:

Excuse me, but maybe I'm wrong here, but weren't you the guy that had a split window Corvette as your avatar and were a Seahawk fan?? If so why did you jump ship??:wtf2:

This guy thinks the Seahawks will have a tough time of it this season. Not sure I agree but it's a good read in case anyone missed it.

Seattle Seahawks' treacherous 2014 schedule thwarts repeat bid - NFL.com

Here is a quote from the artical; The Rams were a popular wild-card pick in the buildup to last season -- and then Sam Bradford got hurt. St. Louis has two of the top 13 picks in the 2014 NFL Draft, including No. 2 overall. Jeff Fisher is a great coach. St. Louis isn't that far away.

On paper, every team in the NFC West looks like it should win at least eight games. But the six divisional bouts will be a challenge for everyone. (In fact, going 4-2 within the division must be considered success.) If you take the Rams lightly, they will bite you.

SAAAAWEEEET!

I have no idea who you're talking about. I've always had the UVA logo as my avatar. I've never been a Seahawks fan.

Sorry my bad.....got you mixed up with "Uhvsplit" or something like that. He comes here periodically from the Seahawk board. His avatar has the picture of a Corvette.

SAAAAAWEEEET!

Back in the day, I watched a buddy of mine from Philadelphia chew up and spit out those split window vettes, along with the 454 Chevelles...........with his nasty '68 428 Cobra Jet Mustang. Now that was SWEEEEEET. He used to wear this shirt that was a caricature of a Mustang eating up a Camaro. At the top it said "Chevrolet". At the bottom of the shirt it said, "Breakfast of Champions" Now that was gourmet dining!
